With Robert DeRatry, just as with his mother, I decided against making him blond even though he has golden fur, mainly to balance the crew out design-wise, since both Charlotte and Sorley are definitely blond. Instead, I gave him light brown hair and lighter skin tone that makes him resemble his mother more. He prefers to wear casual clothes, so I based his outfit on this picture.

Now this looks great! 
Robert looks kinda boyish here, but that works, because a lot of times, Charlotte is supposed to look at him and see a little boy (despite the fact that he's 2 inches taller than her 
). And you made the right call with his wardrobe, as Rob does indeed prefer casual clothes. He also wears brown to symbolize his down-to-earth-ness.
Although I wish you had kept him blond (I don't quite understand what you meant about balancing out the crew?) because Robert was supposed to be a younger version of Clint (who was blond in his youth) just as Ferin is meant to look like a younger version of Vivian. In fact, Robert is supposed to be even blonder than Sorley is. ^^ Although you did pick the right hairstyle for him: neat but also kinda messy.
So overall, yet another great humanization! Thank you so much.
I do like the detail of him having lighter skin like Vivian,btw. Little things like that help add more depth to the designs.
